I was happy that one of my cups was accepted in the Seventh Annual Cup Show: Form and Function – juried by Chandra DeBuse. To see the other cups that are a part of this show at the Amelia Center Gallery in Florida, click here.
This happens more than I like to admit.
A couple of new vases. The nest on the larger vase is carved, and the one on the smaller vase is water-etched.
One of my best friends grabbed this cup before it went to “market”.
White on white cups, using water etching to make the pattern. I left the clay “raw” on the outside (no glaze) and glazed just the inside with an icy light blue glaze.
Water-etched, and stenciled and carved nests.
